The quality of an oil painting is believed to be measured by its innate ability to receive and refract light. Perhaps also, therein lies the measurement for our mind and soul: the inherent ability for one to accept and reflect (give) light to all living things.
These paintings reveal a visual thought of how space and light might come together to display psychological dynamics inside all that is light and all that is dark. Without the shadow, we may succumb to wandering about, without wandering into, the illusive being that is light.
This could be the recipe for a transcendence into a new story, out of the haunted and into the myth.
